Welcome to the HYPE Ministry page of St. Phillips Baptist Church! HYPE stands for "Holy Youth Praise Empowerment," and that's exactly what we're passionate about doing. Our ministry is dedicated to empowering and equipping youth and young adults to live out their faith boldly and passionately in today's world.
Our Mission. To create a vibrant and inclusive community where young people can grow in their relationship with Christ, discover their God-given gifts and talents, and be equipped to make a positive impact in their families, schools, workplaces, and communities. We believe that young people are not just the future of the church but an integral part of God's kingdom right now.
What We Do. Through dynamic worship experiences, engaging small groups, impactful outreach projects, and exciting events and activities, we provide opportunities for young people to connect with God and each other in meaningful ways. From youth nights and Bible studies to service projects and mission trips, we offer a variety of programs and initiatives designed to meet the unique needs and interests of youth and young adults.
Discipleship & Mentoring. We are committed to helping young people grow in their faith and develop a deeper understanding of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Through discipleship groups, one-on-one mentoring relationships, and intentional spiritual formation opportunities, we provide guidance, support, and encouragement as young people navigate the challenges and joys of following Christ in today's world.
Leadership Development. We believe that every young person has the potential to be a leader and influencer for Christ. That's why we invest in leadership development programs and training opportunities to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to lead with integrity, compassion, and courage in every area of their lives.
Community Engagement. We are passionate about making a difference in our local community and beyond. Through outreach projects, service opportunities, and partnerships with other organizations, we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus, showing His love and compassion to those in need and sharing the hope of the gospel with everyone we encounter.
